Awarding the industry’s most prestigious honor — the Gold Key Awards for Excellence in Hospitality Design — will draw a worldwide audience of finalists, guests and hospitality professionals.

Sponsored by Boutique Design, the Gold Key Awards entries included an international list of the most innovative design completed from April 1, 2014 to May 30, 2015. The esteemed judges panel recently selected the Gold Key Awards finalists for excellence in concept, execution, innovation and “wow factor”.

A panel titled Boutique Design Power Players: Women Leaders in Hospitality will include professional tennis player and CEO of Jupiter, Florida-based V*STARR Interiors, Venus Williams. In addition to her 4 gold medals and seven Grand Slam singles titles, Williams designs interiors. In 2011 she began designing for commercial clients and has created spaces for Howard University, Buffalo State College and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. She will join 6 other design power players in a panel discussion as well as keynote the Boutique Design New York (BDNY) trade fair and conference running concurrently with HX: The Hotel Experience.
