Jim Mauer, general manager for the property, a Benchmark Resort® located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, made the announcement. “It is a pleasure to welcome Deborah to Bonaventure Resort & Spa,” said Mr. Mauer. “She comes with a keen understanding of our market, the spa industry, and with the tools and experience necessary for the future success of the resort’s spa.” Deborah Berlingeri was previously senior account executive for Harbor Beach Marriott Resort and Spa, located in Fort Lauderdale. During her tenure there, Ms. Berlingeri held several positions of increasing responsibility in the spa, events, and sales departments. She began her career in hospitality as front office manager for the Raleigh Crabtree Marriott Hotel in Raleigh, North Carolina. Ms. Berlingeri is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she earned her Business Administration Degree. She resides in Weston, Florida.
