Good Nite Inns Streamlines Management of 13 property Hotel Chain
with Ramesys’ Centrally Hosted, Multi-property Entirety Solution
September 6, 2005 - Ramesys (NJ) – The leading provider of enterprise IT solutions to the hospitality and lodging industry and Good Nite Inns, one of California’s best hotel and motel chains announced today that Good Nite Inns has chosen the Entirety multi-property PMS solution consisting of Entirety Front Office, Entirety CRM and web reservations module for their 13 properties. 
Craig Cooley, VP of Sales & Marketing explains, “Good Nite Inns is the little hotel company that could compete and did in an aggressive marketplace. However, technology today has totally changed our culture, the way we do business and the behavior of consumers.  This forced us to re-examine our current business practices and ask ourselves, ‘what can we do to be better in the future?’  We needed to align ourselves with a company that embraced and capitalized upon the newest generation of technology.  After a 14 month vendor evaluation process, we determined that the Entirety PMS solution by Ramesys was our answer.”

The user-friendly Entirety solution for Windows is a mature, full-featured web enabled PMS that includes modules to support operations at both the independent property and corporate level.  A one-time download of a thin desktop client enables users to have access to the system from any PC.

“With the total integration from head office to property level, Entirety will provide us with a unified approach allowing staff to consistently access real-time chain-wide information on rates, availability, and reservations regardless of where they are within the organization. From a marketing standpoint, I am extremely enthused about the Entirety CRM module.  In the past, accessing key revenue and marketing data was a cumbersome and time- consuming task. Through Entirety CRM we will be able to instantly access, control and direct our operational practices and sales mix allowing immediate response and instant results to market trends,” stated Cooley. 

The multi-property Entirety PMS is well suited for and has been implemented as a centralized solution for many hotel chains and was the obvious choice for Good Nite Inns.  Entirety provides a single database in a true multi-property centralized environment with a single guest profile and independent night audits.  Centralized reporting is supported through the Ramesys data-mining tool, MPower, with a drill down dashboard of property performance available on the manager’s desktop each day.  Entirety will also provide Good Nite Inns with connectivity to various electronic distribution channels including SynXis and Expedia.  The addition of the web reservations module will eliminate third party transaction fees and allow guests to directly book from the GNI website.

Good Nite Inns have contracted with Ramesys to host their database and application server.  In doing so, Good Nite Inns realizes the benefits of giving back management of the application software in terms of loading, updates and support to the experts at Ramesys.  Every Ramesys client has the choice to implement Entirety on a traditional local server basis or as a hosted application either at Ramesys or a server farm specializing in this function.
