Entirety Enterprise Suite to Offer Over Five Million
Area Visitors Real Time Reservations
April 24, 2003 - The Greater Lancaster Hotel and Motel Association (Lancaster, PA) represents 35 properties in the Lancaster County area of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Yearly, the association assists over five million visitors in finding the perfect location for an up-close glimpse at the lifestyle of today�s Amish community.

With their membership base and yearly visitors increasing, the Association developed a plan geared to further improve the visitor�s experience by setting up a manned 1-800 information and reservation service that could offer real time room availability both over the phone and the web. Their goal was to capitalize on every call with a confirmed reservation.

The resulting IT plan required a stable partner that could work with the organization as they expanded and implemented technology solutions based on their changing needs. Ramesys Hospitality�s Entirety Enterprise Suite (EES) included all of the components that they were looking for including Central Reservations (CRes), Web Reservations, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and an integrated web based front desk.

Guest�s calling the Central Reservations Office (CRO) are offered a variety of lodging possibilities based on their specific criteria and their reservation is confirmed at that time. While ensuring a fair distribution across the member hotels, the Entirety CRes offers the �best fit� based on a variety of customer requirements that include price, room attributes and geographical location. Guests can also book on-line directly with the same capability of indicating preferences. 

Buchter continued, �We are extremely pleased with the first phase of our IT plan. Our Central Reservations Office has been successfully operating for the past year and the Entirety CRes module has helped increase our properties revenue because of its ability to cross-sell our member properties. Additionally, it has allowed us to give better guest service while achieving increased operational and management control and efficiency of reservation operations.�

With Ramesys� CRM at the heart of the system, the Greater Lancaster Hotel and Motel Association is better able to know who their visitors are and improve the overall customer experience by gathering important guest information for statistical and marketing purposes.
