Ramesys (NJ), May 11, 2004 - The leading provider of enterprise IT
solutions to the hospitality and lodging industry, and GL Resorts (FL),
announce that they have signed an agreement to install the Entirety Enterprise
Suite covering all the group's properties and newly-established automated
central reservations office.
The agreement, which will see the Entirety PMS module installed at GL Resorts, in Florida and Massachusetts, will also be integrated into www.glresorts.com - GLR's web site which is currently not able to offer 100% of available rooms for sale over the Internet. Kevin Bonello, Director of National Reservations & eMarketing at GLR, said, " The Ramesys Entirety system answered our corporate needs for a flexible reservations systems, with EDS (electronic distribution systems)/GDS (global distribution systems) connectivity, while providing for extensive guest history and marketing data capabilities via the CRM module; additionally, we could deploy the system quickly." Entirety is seen as a key component in helping GLR expand their business by being more responsive to customers' needs and requests in addition to offering the chain an unrivalled, centralized guest history with Entirety's CRM module. This module will allow GL Resorts to profile booking patterns of all its guests and offer highly tailored incentives to encourage returning customers. Richard Farrell, CEO of GL Resorts, said, "We reviewed several IT solutions but Ramesys really stood out as the most appropriate for our business. We wanted a partner that offered a completely integrated and truly enterprise set of modules. We also demanded flexibility, and felt most comfortable with Ramesys' approach." GL Resorts has also contracted with Ramesys to host the database and application server in New Jersey. This will be located at a state of the art server farm and connected to the GL Resort properties via high speed Internet connections with VPN security. "The Ramesys solution will enable us to only worry about getting the configuration of data and processes right for our business, without having to organize the data communication infrastructure. This has benefits for us in many ways, especially as we do not need to employ anyone with specialist and high-cost technical skills," Farrell continued. Entirety, one of the PMS solutions offered by Ramesys, is believed to be the most widely installed ASP based PMS worldwide with an excess of 400 hotels online. Ramesys currently has over 4,000 hotel customers using a variety of solutions primarily in the areas of PMS, CRes, data warehousing and telecom solutions.
