Knowland Expands Washington DC Facilities with Move to
Vibrant Chinatown Neighborhood

Company Increases Office Space in the Washington Metro Area by More Than 500%
to Keep Pace with Growth

Washington, D.C., 03/29/11The Knowland Group, a leading provider of business development solutions for the hospitality industry, has recently moved its second largest facility from McLean, VA to Washington, D.C. in the historic Chinatown neighborhood. The move is designed to accommodate recent growth in the firm’s communications, marketing and enterprise sales teams.

The Knowland Group is always ahead of the curve when it comes to delivering cutting edge products, making Chinatown the ideal location for the company’s new office. Known as the “Times Square” of DC, Chinatown is the ultimate urban business destination with over 250,000 people working in the area. Many of the city’s successful high-growth tech companies, such as, Living Social, Blackboard and Blue State Digital, call the area home.

“Chinatown is a perfect place for a fast-paced and rising company,” said Knowland CEO Michael K. McKean. “The new location will help us continue to keep pace with our client’s needs, allowing us to provide exceptional value and superior service along the way.”

Designed by award-winning architects, Wingate-Hughes, the space features exposed brick walls, loft-style windows and an open and airy floor plan.  Representing more than a five-fold increase in office space occupied by the firm’s Washington area operations, room for as many as 45 employees will be available.
