TTI Expands Global Reach by Partnering with
CMS to Resell Scanners in India

As TTIs international partner in India, CMS will help hotel operators save time and money securing
and sending guest information to proper authorities

New York April 28, 2009 As part of its ongoing global distribution effort, TTI Technologies International has signed a partnership agreement with CMS Computers Ltd. to be the sole reseller of TTIs Scan2PMS solution in India. Scan2PMS enables front-desk staff to capture guest information from a drivers license or passport at check-in and immediately download the data into the hotels property-management system.

CMS Group of Companies is an information-technology solution provider based in India that employs more than 15,000 professionals worldwide. The IT company will manage the sales, installation and support areas of the expanded TTI business. The well-developed infrastructure of CMS, which includes regional centers, branch offices, development centers and support engineers, will provide a significant advantage to TTIs global distribution effort.

We are thrilled to partner with CMS, a recognized leader throughout India for providing cost-effective solutions and services to hotels, said Steve Blidner, TTI President. Demand for scanners has spiked recently due to heightened security in India and other nearby countries. This distribution partnership will help ensure hotels are safer while streamlining the guest check-in process.

Many countries require hotels to send guest information to law enforcement authorities on a nightly basis, he said. Our technology automates this process for the front-desk staff, which in turn frees up more time to focus on guests needs.

Strategic, Secure Partnership

We are helping hoteliers respond quickly to changing market dynamics to increase their competitiveness, said Mokam Singh, CMS Sr. Business Manager. Automatic data capture at check-in is critical for hotels in India especially those in more volatile regions. Having a secure means to identify who is staying at a given hotel will provide an added level of security.

We are excited to serve as a reseller of the TTI Scan2PMS solution in India, he added. This system not only reduces check-in time for guests, but also interfaces to the hotels property-management system, storing critical data from drivers licenses, passports or other forms of ID.  This automatic ID solution will provide a much-needed level of protection to guests and owners.

As for TTIs international growth plans, the company continues to look for international partners, especially as security concerns heighten and various governments set strict guidelines on passport capturing requirements.
