New guest service and revenue
tool to be showcased at the IH/M&R Show in
New York, November 11-13 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center
in Booth No. 3053
York— NOVEMBER 2, 2007 — TTI Technologies International is pleased to announce
that it has joined together with Telecharge.com, a New York-based consumer
ticket-sales service, to provide Broadway and Off Broadway theater tickets
via its new ConciergeOnDemand solution. ConciergeonDemand is a computer-based
system that allows guests to view and book tours, buy show tickets, book
transportation, etc. directly from a convenient lobby kiosk or PC workstation.
The solution, which was introduced by TTI last month, is designed for hotels that wish to offer concierge services but can’t justify associated labor costs. Attendees of the International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant show, to be held Nov. 10-13 at the Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center in New York, are invited to use the ConciergeonDemand system and purchase show tickets via Telecharge.com in booth no. 3053.
“Telecharge is thrilled to work with TTI for its ConciergeOnDemand system,” said Jennifer Tattenbaum, E-Commerce Manager for Shubert Ticketing, a division of The Shubert Organization, Inc., which owns and operates Telecharge.com. “This system allows hotel guests to purchase tickets through a secure, low-cost online medium. Now visitors to New York can easily and affordably secure event or show tickets at face value, without incurring costly 50% to 100% mark-ups added by many in-person hotel concierges’, and without spending half a day waiting on line for discount tickets.”
Tattenbaum added, “ConciergeOnDemand is a great way for hoteliers to provide true and immediate value to their guests. It’s an amenity that is ideal for the smaller independent, branded or boutique hotels in New York.”
Steve Blidner, TTI President, said “Whatever a traditional hotel concierge can do, ConciergeonDemand can do. The system allows guests to purchase and print tickets for Broadway shows, sightseeing tours and sporting events. The system also helps travelers to reserve car services to the airport, make restaurant reservations, rent a car and even buy movie tickets,” he said.
“We are proud that Telecharge.com is providing our ticketing services in the New York area,” he said. “We couldn’t have asked for a better company to bring online ticket services to our hotels.”
TTI provides self-service business center workstations, boarding-pass terminals, information kiosks and digital signage to hotels featuring: High-speed Dell computers with Pentium processors, Dell 17-inch flat screen monitors, Dell Laser Printer, credit-card readers (optional bill readers are available), smart media readers, CD Burner, USB port for memory sticks and other devices, laptop ports, Skype international Internet calling connectivity, and Lexmark multifunction machinery.
The Shubert Organization, Inc. is a leading force in the American theater, owning or operating 19 Broadway and Off Broadway venues in New York, plus additional theaters in Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Shubert Ticketing’s core software application, the innovative STAR System, is one of the industry’s leading tools for ticket sales, inventory management and reporting. Through its Telecharge.com consumer ticket sales service, Shubert Ticketing provides venue clients with the infrastructure to sell tickets online, by phone and at the box office.
