to Power Its Group Business Strategy

Leading Central American hospitality management company will leverage
Delphi to connect its InterContinental properties



 
Portsmouth, NH - August 29, 2007 — Newmarket International, Inc., the leader in sales and catering solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced that Real Hotels & Resorts, a leading hotel management company, selected Newmarket’s Delphi Multi Property Edition® (MPE) to help drive growth and innovation. Delphi MPE, the leading application for automating group sales, catering and event processes, will enable Real Hotels & Resorts to increase sales productivity, share critical business information across its hotels and cross-sell its properties.

Real Hotels & Resorts, formed from Grupo Real in 2006, operates successfully in alliance with three large hotel chains: InterContinental Hotels Group, Choice Hotels International and Marriott Hotels and Resorts. At the present time the group operates 16 hotels in Central and North America. With Delphi MPE in place, Real will be able to sell across all the IHG properties, share one view of the inventory available and create better customer loyalty among its properties. As an additional benefit, the system will improve workflow and reporting on business data. 

Delphi’s Profit Pack, the integrated, online yield management capability in Delphi, also appealed to Real. “With Profit Pack we will able to determine the most lucrative pricing over a period of dates. We are excited about enabling our sales team to sell at the best rate in order to increase revenues,” added Bolanos.
