Region’s leading hotels choose Newmarket’s sales
and catering solutions for competitive edge
|Portsmouth, NH - February 7, 2007 — Newmarket
International, Inc., the leader in sales
and catering solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced
the achievement of significant market share in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
In support of its growing group of hospitality customers in Dubai’s thriving
economy, Newmarket hosted the inaugural Delphi 2007 Partner Seminar, an
event focused on providing its customers with the Newmarket
software tools to succeed. As growth in the Dubai hospitality market
takes off, hotels are realizing a need for the Delphi solution, the industry's
leading application for automating sales, marketing, and catering processes.
More than 20 Dubai hotel groups attended the Delphi 2007 Partner Seminar,
clearly indicating that Newmarket
Delphi is the system of choice in the region.
According to a 2007 Hotel Benchmark™ Survey by Deloitte Consulting, Dubai is the fastest growing region and over the last year Middle East hotels enjoyed a 3rd year of double digit growth with average room rates among the highest in the world. To sustain this level of performance as additional supply floods the market, hotels must manage revenues, costs and efficiencies effectively. With Newmarket’s solutions in place, these hotels can keep their edge. The Delphi 2007 Partner Seminar featured speakers such as Shawn McGowan, Newmarket’s Vice President of Product Development, presenting the company’s existing innovative solutions and new product developments.
“We are pleased with the excitement and attendance at this first of its kind event in Dubai,” said Steve Lambert, Managing Director EMEA at Newmarket International, Inc. “We will continue to provide our customers in Dubai, and the Middle East, with the most powerful solutions in the market to help them book more business, increase profits, provide the best in customer service and capitalize on this growing economy.”
Recent activity and success for Newmarket has also included InterContinental Dubai Festival City and the Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City. The properties announced they will implement the Delphi® Multi-Property Edition sales & banqueting solution from Newmarket International for selling and servicing group meetings and conferences.
