The event, held at the Hotel Contessa September 16 - 19, was jam packed with interactive sessions, networking opportunities, hands-on labs, partner showcase and best practices to give independent operators tools and strategies to increase online revenue, productivity, guest engagement and profits. Maestro integration streamlines all areas of company and property operations
"Maestro's Users' Conference is a high-value event for Banff Lodging Company. Our team learned operating tips and best practices from NORTHWIND system specialists and Maestro users that will increase our productivity," said Banff Lodging Reservation Manager Cathy Geisler. "We brought three senior managers and a GM to this year's Users' Conference because Maestro touches all areas of our operation. The educational sessions spotlighted new system features and how to use them for a better operation. We also learned about functionality in the next version and were able to provide input on future services and development. The Wild Wild West Gala night was great fun. NORTHWIND did a good job of balancing work and great evening events."
Maestro gives independents the tools and services to compete successfully with big brands

NORTHWIND provided attendees with after-hours Texas-style fun each evening. Monday night's Welcome Reception featured salsa dancing and a mariachi band; Tuesday evening was a Wild Wild West Gala with a country band and a saloon casino; and Wednesday Maestro hosted private riverboat tours of the historic River Walk.
The Maestro User's Conference included popular hands-on labs and expert sessions that delivered personalized operator education and Q & A forums. NORTHWIND also provided interactive boot camps on new Maestro features, Rates and Yield Management, Guest Loyalty, and Integrated Operations, as well as other topics. Dehan said, "Attendees said they learned a great deal from our sessions and the partner showcase and had a memorable time networking during the evening events. We want clients to return to their properties energized to make a difference, share their knowledge, and achieve more with their Maestro systems."
