Avia The Woodlands in Texas Reflags as the
Hyatt Market Street, The Woodlands

CHICAGO (February 7, 2012) – Hyatt Hotels & Resorts announced today that Avia The Woodlands, located 30 minutes north of Houston, TX, has officially changed its name to Hyatt Market Street, The Woodlands.

Located at Market Street, a premier shopping and entertainment destination filled with more than 90 luxury retailers and 17 restaurants, Hyatt Market Street, The Woodlands combines understated elegance with contemporary style.

The hotel’s 70 rooms and suites include a Classic Guestroom, Grand Suite, Lux Suite, Master Patio Suite and two Signature Presidential Hosting Suites. All rooms and suites include an array of amenities, including an in-room refreshment bar, modern bathrooms with walk-in showers, lush beds and fine linens, 42-inch flat panel televisions, alarm clock radios with MP3 docking stations with spacious work areas.

Hyatt Market Street, The Woodlands boasts the new Market Street Kitchen and Bar which is sure to become a favorite new haunt. Guests can settle in bar-side on intimate couches or cozy up to the fire pit on the open-air terrace. Market Street Kitchen and Bar offers an impressive list of wines, handcrafted brews and imported lagers. The tasty small plates menu showcases a selection of Fromage and Charcuterie with a mix of domestic and imported cured meats and cheese making for perfect communal grazing.

Flexible and elegant spaces are also available for meetings and special events, complete with full audio visual services and private catering and specialized menus. Meeting spaces include the 2,240 square foot State Room with Veranda, the Cabana Room and Terrace Patio and Outdoor Terrace. The Presidential Hosting Suites, at 1,835 square feet each, are also suitable for small intimate meetings.
