Newport Beach, CA - November 12, 2013 -- Maxim Hotel Brokerage arranged the sale of two unique award-winning resort properties located in Montana and Alaska.  Maxim represented the seller, an affiliate of Lehman Holdings Inc. in both transactions.  According to Harry Pflueger, Principal with Maxim, "These were amazing properties with a lot of recognition, but marketing them effectively for sale required a great amount of creativity due to their remote locations and specialized operations."

Lone Mountain Ranch is a well established, historic resort ranch located in Big Sky, Montana with an irreplaceable setting near the gateway to Yellowstone National Park.  With capacity for 70 guests, the all-inclusive resort offers on-site activities including horseback riding (over 90 horses), over 85 kilometers of cross-country skiing, a ropes course, sleigh rides and an extensive kids' program.  The property sold to a privately held ownership and operating company, who has plans to renovate and enhance its positioning in order to incorporate Lone Mountain Ranch into their collection of independent, boutique destination properties.

Bristol Bay Lodge is an award-winning destination, all-inclusive fishing lodge located in Dillingham, Alaska.  With a primary lakefront lodge, two remote outpost camps and three vintage deHavilland float planes, the operation offers guests some of the best fishing in some of the most remote waters in the world.  According to Jack Carr, Principal at Maxim, "Finding the right buyer for this world class property was a challenge, but the new owner has a tremendous track record and will continue to position this property at the top of its class."
