Miami—October 25, 2011—Atlanta-based DAPage LLC is helping MTech cement its already formidable reputation as an industry leader in innovative, cutting-edge technology for hotel communication with an exciting new integration-development initiative. As a gateway option for MTech's HotSOS (Hotel Service Optimization System), DAPage Notifications allows Kenwood digital two-way radio systems to be used with HotSOS for the first time. In addition, DAPage also integrates with Motorola’s MOTOTRBO™ radios, giving hoteliers even more choices in which wireless devices they can employ to manage work order processes and guests' service requests. "DAPage Notifications provides a transparent interface between hotel staff using a Motorola or Kenwood radio and HotSOS,” said Jeff Silberberg, DAPage partner. "We are the magic that makes the two talk to each other. Many hotels have a mobile, two-way radio system on site, but due to complexities of existing in-house solutions or limitations with hotel networks as a reaction to today's environment, they are unable to function well and provide true real-time communications. Now hotels can use their radio systems with the same efficiencies and functionalities as hotel staff already using smart mobile devices to connect with HotSOS." DAPage is a cloud-based provider, meaning “no capital cost” for the hotel or facility. The company's plug-and-play advantage goes beyond installation, Silberberg said, by “enabling us to monitor the connection in real time for the client and proactively identify any issues that may occur.” DAPage sends service order information from HotSOS to hand-held radios and handles replies from those devices to the work order requests. The system also allows hotel staff to talk between departments simultaneously, ensuring that work orders and guest requests are fulfilled in reasonable amounts of time. This added integration eliminates unnecessary cell-phone and pager costs and combines those two devices’ functions into one single device. “MTech is committed to providing our customers with even more device options to better streamline their interdepartmental communications and improve guest services, operations and bottom-line results,” said Luis Segredo, MTech President. “We are thrilled to add Kenwood to our long roster of supported devices and look forward to this new relationship with DAPage."
