Las Vegas, NV (July 14, 2014)Clairvoyix, the leader in enterprise class, hospitality specific marketing automation, is pleased to announce enhancements to the Clairvoyix Hospitality Solution developed specifically to help our clients avoid the severe penalties associated with CASL non-compliance. All Clairvoyix hospitality clients currently running our “Software as a Service” Internet deployed system will immediately benefit from this upgrade, without the need to install any additional software, and without any added cost.

The Clairvoyix solution will now contain a unique CASL privacy “flag” for each profiled past guest, so that marketers will be able to suppress known Canadian consumers who beforehand may have received an email promotion that would result in a violation of the newly enacted law. Addressing several key components of the law, the Clairvoyix technical team has developed a process to identify email addresses with a Canadian domain suffix, as well as past guests with a Canadian mailing address. Also noting that the Law does not apply to consumers who have transacted business during the most recent 24 months, Clairvoyix is leveraging their hospitality-specific marketing database, the Clairvoyix Knowledge Factory, to identify transaction records such as a PMS checkout that falls within the allowed time period.
