Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport in California
Names Justin Kaufman as Banquet Sous Chef

San Francisco/Burlingame, CA – February 15, 2012 –Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport recently appointed Justin Kaufman as Banquet Sous Chef, according to Executive Chef Herb Ng. Justin is a former Hyatt employee who completed his Corporate Management Training at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis before transferring to the Hyatt Regency Incline Village in Tahoe, California as a Culinary Kitchen Supervisor.  According to Ng, “We’ve had the pleasure of working with Justin when he came to Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport this summer and we are extremely happy to welcome him back to the Hyatt family with this recent promotion.” Justin was most recently a Sous Chef at Bungalow 44 in Mill Valley, California.
Recognized recently with the “As Fresh As it Gets” award from San Mateo Convention & Visitors Bureau, Chef Ng comments, “Justin’s commitment to utilizing the freshest, local ingredients and his enthusiasm for our approach to seasonal banquet menus for groups and catered events makes him the ideal addition to our team of culinary experts.”

Justin received his Bachelor of Arts Degree is Hospitality and Tourism at Southern Illinois University and his Associate Degree in Applied Science in Culinary Arts from Joliet Junior College in Joliet, IL.
