Waterford Hotel Group Names Howard Esquirol as
Vice President, Accounting


WATERFORD, CT (July 12, 2011)
--- Waterford Hotel Group has named Howard Esquirol as Vice President, Accounting at its corporate offices in Waterford, CT.  Waterford Hotel Group professionally manages 27 properties in nine states, representing more than 3,600 hotel rooms nationwide, as well as the Connecticut Convention Center.

As Vice President of Accounting for Waterford Hotel Group, Esquirol is responsible for the financial, accounting, and information technology functions of Waterford Hotel Group and each of the properties that it manages. He develops, implements and maintains financial controls and standardized policies that reduce costs and streamline financial communications, as well as operating and capital budgets. Esquirol is a key financial link between Waterford Hotel Group, property ownership, managers, and accountants.

Esquirol joined Waterford Hotel Group in 2005 with more than 20 years of extensive experience in all aspects of hotel financial operations, strategic planning, and financial analysis.   Previously, he held key financial positions for Marriott, Hilton, Omni, Wyndham and Sofitel branded hotels throughout the United States and Caribbean.   He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina.
