AHLEI Introduces Time-Payment Option
for Distance Learning Courses
Lansing, Michigan, August 2010The American Hotel &
Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) has introduced a time payment option
for its Distance Learning program. Students who enroll in three or
more courses can choose to pay over several months rather than paying their
complete enrollment fee upfront.
With this option, students pay $180 for their first course (add an additional $45 if enrolling for the first time), and then make three monthly payments of $60 for each additional course. When AHLEI receives the third installment, the student receives the next course in their program. Students receive monthly reminders to keep their payments on track. Under this new payment option, students can take 13 months to pay for a five-course Area of Specialization, 22 months to pay for the eight-course Hospitality Operations Certificate, and nearly three years to pay for the 12-course diploma program. Plus, upon enrollment, the students payment schedule is locked in, even if AHLEI increases prices midway through the program. For more information, call Karen Flickinger, Distance Learning Manager, at 800-390-8399 or 517-372-8800, e-mail [email protected], or visit www.ahlei.org/distancelearning. Established in 1953 as a nonprofit educational foundation of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, the Educational Institutes mission is to support AH&LA by becoming the preferred provider to the lodging industry, hospitality schools, and related hospitality industries both domestically and internationally by developing and providing quality resources to train, educate, and certify hospitality professionals. |
