Due to a robust boost in the hospitality sector, more than 21,000 additional hotel rooms and units are expected to open for business by the end of 2012, according to statistics by the Qatar Tourism Authority. This increase is due to the surging demand for this category of hotel facilities in the hotel market, as well as efforts by Qatari and foreign investors to attract reputable international hotel names.
