- InnLink announces the signing of an agreement with The Hertz Corporation
that recognizes Hertz as InnLink’s vendor of choice for car rental options.
The agreement is for InnLink’s iLINK, the reservation booking engine
used by more than 1000 hotels, and vLINK, the voice reservation
component of InnLink’s Contact Center operation in Tennessee.
The agreement permits customers using InnLink’s hotel booking engine or voice services to connect directly to Hertz’s electronic or voice reservation services to make automobile reservations as part of his/her travel request. Initial contracts to utilize the Hertz service with several of InnLink’s customers including, AmericInn International, Key West Inn and Suites, GuestHouse International, Savannah Suites, and Select Inns have been signed and implementation is underway. According to Laurie Bechler, InnLink’s Vice President of Operations, “InnLink continues to add value for its customers by adopting relevant service options that assist guests and enhance the reservation process.” Pam Wright, Hertz’s Division Vice President of Travel Industry and Partnership Sales adds, “Here at Hertz, we’re dedicated to providing reservation services to our customers via the channels our customers wish to book.
