Conversion to New Central Reservation System |
Chanhassen, MN (July 10, 2003) AmericInn International,
LLC Chairman and CEO Luke Fowler announced the completion of the AmericInn
chainwide conversion to a new central reservation system. InnLink,
one of the nation's leading reservation service providers manages the AmericInn
Lodging Systems central reservation system (CRS) services for voice, Global
Distribution Systems (GDS) and Internet reservation bookings. Voice
reservations were activated through the new central reservation system
on June 2, 2003 for the entire lodging chain. Electronic reservations
(GDS/internet) were implemented on June 17, 2003 along with a newly designed
chainwide website at www.americinn.com.
The new site contains added functionality with a seamless booking engine
through InnLink to provide convenient, accurate and immediate reservations
at any AmericInn property nationwide.
The decision to enhance the AmericInn reservation system and convert to a CRS platform was based on an analysis of the industry including consumer demands and booking patterns. InnLink was chosen as the chains central reservation system provider because of their strong background and experience within the hospitality industry. InnLink now provides a convenient, accurate and friendly method for guests, travel agents and wholesalers planning group accommodations to book rooms at any AmericInn location nationwide. InnLinks reservation agents have access to AmericInn property-specific information on a real-time basis, which helps them achieve higher conversion ratios and additional bookings. InnLink's seamless connectivity to all of the major GDS, including Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre and Worldspan, is expected to significantly enhance electronic booking capabilities. InnLink also provides connectivity to Pegasus powered travel websites for consumer-initiated reservations. Our partnership with InnLink will help to further the AmericInn commitment of providing each guest with a consistently rewarding experience, said Fowler. We anticipate a promising and successful partnership with InnLink and look forward to the advancements the new reservation system will bring the AmericInn Lodging System. According to Mike Young, President of InnLink, The activation of voice, GDS, Internet, and booking engine reservation services for the AmericInn Lodging System is the beginning of what we anticipate will be a long and prosperous relationship between our companies. InnLink values the opportunity it has been presented, and looks forward to the growth and success that AmericInn International, LLC will achieve over the coming years. Headquartered in Hendersonville, Tenn., InnLink LLC is one of the nation's leading private label voice and electronic reservation service providers.
