USFS announces Project Reveille;

Guests to receive free local and long distance calls
and high speed Internet; hotels to get upgraded
PMS from Ramesys
March 1, 2004 Ramesys (NJ), the leading provider of enterprise IT solutions to the hospitality and lodging industry, and U.S. Franchise Systems, Inc. (USFS) have signed an agreement to install a customized version of Ramesys' ImagInn Platinum Property Management System (PMS) at all 266 US Microtel Inn & Suites.  The agreement, which forms part of Microtel's Project Reveille, was announced at the USFS tradeshow in Atlanta in February.  Key elements of Project Reveille include free-to-guest local and long distance calls and wireless high-speed Internet access in addition to the PMS installation.

Microtel, which was named Top Budget Brand by Business Travel News at the start of 2004, is standardizing their PMS on the Ramesys solution that includes a two-way interface with the USFS corporate central reservations system.  This interface will also support Internet based check-in via the Microtel website.  Ramesys will also be delivering an e-folio capability that allows customers to receive their bill online. Microtel owners may further enhance the USFS standard configuration with optional modules at discounted prices to have a highly tailored solution.  The rollout of this project will be finalized by December 31, 2004.

ImagInn is installed at over 2,000 properties across the United States and is a preferred PMS for Microtel Inn & Suites by USFS, Country Inns & Suites by Carlson, Baymont Inns & Suites, Shilo Inns, Westmark, Woodfin Chase Suites and Bradford Home Suites (Intervest).

ImagInn Platinum is a module within Ramesys' Entirety Business Enterprise Suite. Entirety encompasses the broadest range of hotel solutions required in the hospitality marketplace for today's technology, including property, corporate, distribution and professional solutions and services.
