Orgwide Services Selected as Winner in the 33rd Annual Telly Awards

Memphis, TN – April 25, 2012 – Collierville-based Orgwide Services was selected as a Bronze winner in the 33rd Annual Telly Awards for their asset titled “Be at Home…Today!” completed for the Homewood Suites by Hilton brand. With nearly 11,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, this is truly an honor.

“Be at Home…Today” is a culture training program designed by Orgwide Services to help the JD Power award winning Homewood Suites by Hilton brand communicate its unique brand culture to team members across their portfolio of over 300 hotels. Filmed on location and in studio and utilizing a television show metaphor, the “Be at Home…Today!” hosts interview hotel team members who describe how they bring the Homewood Suites brand culture to life. Actual guests of the brand are also interviewed to share how it feels when the brand culture comes to life from a customer perspective. The video was produced in partnership with New School Media and included versions in English and conversational Spanish. The 40-minute television show was designed to be shown in a classroom setting with leader guides and participant workbooks to guide the group discussion.

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. A prestigious judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents. The Silver Telly Council evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work. Entries do not compete against each other, rather, entries are judged against a high standard of excellence.

“The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. “Orgwide Services’ accomplishment illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production.”

“Winning the coveted Telly Award is a testament to the awesome work the Orgwide team delivers to each and every one of our clients,” said Bob Taylor, CEO, and founder of Orgwide Services. “The Be at Home…Today!" project required a tremendous team effort with nearly every member of our firm touching the product at some point along the continuum.  Our client, Mike Mallott, Director, Culture & Communications at Homewood provided us with the perfect background, support, and objectives to enable our team’s creativity to shine.”
