NEW HARTFORD, NY FEBRUARY 6, 2007 PAR Springer-Miller Systems, Inc. (PSMS) a wholly owned subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE:PTC) --- and the leading provider of guest-centric hospitality management systems --- is pleased to announce that Capella Hotels and Resorts will install PARs SMS|Host Hospitality Management System for their luxury hotel properties, beginning with the Capella Castlemartyr Hotel and Golf Club in County Cork, Ireland and Schloss Velden, a Capella Hotel, in Velden, Austria.

Conceptualized as ultra-deluxe properties by Horst Schulze, former president of  The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and founder of West Paces Hotel Group, which includes Capella Hotels and Resorts and Solís Hotels and Resorts, Capella promises to offer guests one-of-a-kind settings, exquisite architecture and interior design and enriching experiences such as spas, boutique shopping, gourmet restaurants, golf courses and/or marinas. Schulze promises that the Capella brand will be a 100 percent customer-driven experience.

With fewer than 100 rooms at each property, Capella will distinguish itself with a level of personalized guest service never before seen. SMS|Host Hospitality Management System will be the solution in the background enabling the staff to operate as if they had a sixth sense. From dietary needs to beverage preference, SMS|Hosts richly featured guest profiling capabilities will allow the staff to compile guest preferences in infinite detail, resulting in individualized and truly memorable service experiences. SMS|Enterprise will allow this rich source of information to be centrally managed and instantly shared amongst all the Capella properties.

Guest service is an art form, commented Horst Schulze, Founder of Capella Hotels and Resorts. We chose PSMS SMS|Host solution to provide the foundation that our employees need to provide a level of guest service that is second to none.

We are looking forward to working with Capella Hotels and Resorts and providing them with a high-quality, cost-effective technology solution to meet their needs and enable them to delight their guests, said John Springer-Miller, CEO of PAR Springer-Miller Systems.  We are confident that the skill and experience of our team and our dedication to guest-centric technology meet the high quality and service standards of our customers in the luxury hotel market.

In addition to the SMS|Host Front Office System, Capella Castlemartyr and Schloss Velden will install SMS|Enterprise for central reservations and data collection, SMS|POS Retail for Spa, Golf and transportation, the SMS|Membership Management module will handle golf and spa memberships, outside guest services will be booked using SMS|Activities, and SMS|Spa/Resort Scheduling will handle reservations for the spa, dining and transportation. In addition, Capella Castlemartyr will utilize SMS|Multi-Property Management to segment the main hotel from the Resorts individually owned Mews residences.
