Springer-Miller Systems to Integrate Expedia's Direct Connect Technology; Hoteliers Will Benefit with Real-Time
Connectivity for Internet Reservations

.

Stowe, Vt. - May 26, 2004 - Springer Miller Systems Inc. (SMS) - the leading provider of guest-centric hospitality management systems - is pleased to announce an agreement with Expedia, Inc. to integrate Springer-Miller's SMS|Host Hospitality Management System with Expedia®'s direct connect technology.

Hotels and resorts using SMS|Host will be better able to manage their business by utilizing newly developed connectivity between the application and Expedia.com®. This real-time connectivity enables automated notification of Expedia.com hotel reservations within SMS |Host. Moreover, the SMS|Host software will upload detailed information about rates and availability back to Expedia.com, thus keeping all of a property's information synchronized. This enables better inventory yield management for hotels and more choice for guests, who will have access to accurate, real-time room availability data.

"For years, we have ensured that our customers were working towards a vision of utilizing the Internet to drive more business to their properties through our software. This collaboration with Expedia opens the door much wider, and brings a value-add that is unmatched in the industry," says John Springer-Miller, CEO of Springer-Miller Systems.

"Partnering with Spring-Miller Systems enables Expedia to implement direct connectivity more efficiently with properties using SMS|Host, the system of choice at many of our hotel partners," said Frederic Lalonde, vice president, supplier strategy for Expedia, Inc. "As we continue to expand the number of hotels with direct connections into Expedia, our customers will benefit from enhanced access to the broadest depth of rates and inventory in the industry."
