McLaren Implements Technology 'Jazz' Up At Conrad Hong Kong Hotel

Hong Kong, 20th March 2012 – The renowned Conrad Hong Kong has concluded an avant-garde ‘communications refurbishment’, following a comprehensive audit and new solutions upgrade by McLaren Technologies Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. Towering 61 floors over Pacific Place in Hong Kong's vibrant business district, the Conrad Hong Kong is well regarded for delivering premier service, award-winning dining and hi-tech amenities for guests.

Conrad Hong Kong’s General Manager, Mr Keith Allardice, explained that its recent collaboration with McLaren Technologies has empowered the hotel to take its ‘high-tech’ positioning one step further, this time for the benefit of the entire hotel’s service team. Conrad Hotels & Resorts’ philosophy of providing flawless service and connections for customers has been enhanced through the relationship with McLaren, says Allardice.

“As one of Hong Kong’s busiest hotels, both in regards to business and leisure markets, service optimisation is paramount,” he said. “Effective service and time management is key.”

“To help our team members perform at their peak, we decided to invest in an upgrade of our communication and guest tracking systems, impacting all facets of the hotel. In this regards, McLaren’s experience has been invaluable.

“McLaren was not only able to recommend the most appropriate solutions for our business, covering everything from front office to guest rooms and our busy conference and events department, but also accomplished the project in a workable time frame that incorporated integration and training. The entire process was seamless.”

McLaren Technologies is Asia Pacific’s leading provider of guest-response, asset protection and workflow automation solutions. Commissioned by Conrad Hong Kong, McLaren installed a total of three complementary solution systems for the hotel - Jazz Call Accounting; DuVoice Guest and Administration Voice Mail; plus industry favourite, ‘HotSOS’ provided by industry leading solutions developer MTech. ‘HotSOS’ (pronounced ‘hot sauce’) is considered one of the industry’s most dynamic service optimisation systems, designed to facilitate preventative maintenance and intuitive task management.

McLaren Technologies Managing Director, Mr Matthew White, said, “It was great to work with such a forward thinking, guest oriented hotel. They really did embrace a ‘high-tech’ approach to updating the hotel’s back of house communications and infrastructure, which ultimately will benefit every team member, as well as conference clients and hotel guests.

“Part of the beauty of HotSOS, Jazz Call Accounting and DuVoice is their simplicity and stable performance across devices. The result for Conrad Hong Kong is a unified technology system that translates in real terms to a more timely and professional hotel experience - from the moment guests check in and are presented with their rooms through wake up calls and departures.”
