Jed Heller, President of The Providence Group, Invited
to Participate as a Panelist
for the Information Management Network (IMN) Distressed Hotel Symposium
April 6, 2009 – Duxbury, MA. The Providence Group, LLC, a Massachusetts-based full service hospitality management company, announced today that President Jed C. Heller will serve as a panelist at the IMN Distressed Hotel Symposium, April 30 – May 1, 2009, at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa, Hollywood, FL. Heller will participate in the panel discussion chaired by Bob Sonnenblick, Chairman, Sonnenblick – Del Rio, on “Macroeconomic & Hotel Sector Outlook: Can We Make Lemonade from all the Lemons Out there?”
The panel discussion will cover a wide range of topics including demand and room rate projections, geographic assessment of weak spots, recession resistant areas, and impact of the new administration on the hotel industry. Joining Heller on the panel are Bob Craycraft, Vice President-Industry Relations, American Resort Development Association; Chris Woronka, Vice President/Lodging Analyst, Deutsche Bank; Chris Ward, Managing Principle, Magnolia Florida; and Brian Newman, Managing Principle, Overwatch Capital Partners.
The two day symposium, organized by the Information Management Network, is designed for hotel owners, investors and hospitality industry experts who will discuss the most significant developments affecting the hospitality industry in 2009.
“The symposium offers a great opportunity for hotel owners to hear successful case studies from industry leaders and discuss unique strategies to help them gain the most value from their investments, despite a bleak forecast for 2009,” said Heller.
Heller founded The Providence Group in 2005 to offer hospitality and general management services to hotels, time-share resorts and condominiums in the U.S. and overseas. Today, the company specializes in managing small-to-medium size hotels and currently provides management and consulting services for several east coast properties.
