McLean, VA – March 14, 2013 – Homewood Suites by Hilton, the international brand of upscale, all-suite, extended-stay hotels, today announced the opening of its three newest properties: Victoria, TX, Carle Place-Garden City, NY and Springfield, VA.  These three new property openings push Homewood Suites’ North American footprint to 322 hotels and more than double first quarter openings, compared with the first quarter of 2012.

Opening over the past week, details about each hotel are below:
 

• Victoria, TX – Owned by Victoria Associates, Ltd. and managed by Castle Hospitality, the four story, 109-suite Homewood Suites Victoria, TX is led by General Manager Dagmar Gomez and supported by Director of Sales Christina Henry.  The hotel is located at 6705 N.E. Zac Lentz Parkway, and provides guests easy access to locally based businesses such as Eagle Ford Shale natural gas, Caterpillar, Baker Hughes and C&J Energy. The hotel is also close to the University of Houston at Victoria, Texas Zoo, Victoria Education Gardens and the Victoria ISD Aquatics and Fine Arts Center.

• Carle Place-Garden City, NY – Owned by AVR Carle Place Associates, LLC and managed by Dimension Development, the four story, 150-suite Homewood Suites Carle Place-Garden City is led by General Manager Paul Gabriel and supported by Director of Sales David Hall.  The hotel is located at 40 Westbury Ave., just 17 miles from JFK International Airport and 18 miles from La Guardia International Airport.   Guests have easy access to Nassau County corporations including Cablevision, Covanta Energy, FAA, 1-800 Flowers, LIJ Northshore Hospital, Cannon and Keyspan; and can enjoy nearby attractions including Belmont Racetrack - home of the Belmont Stakes - Roosevelt Field Mall, and the Nikon Theater at Jones Beach.

• Springfield, VA – Owned by White/Peterman Properties, Inc. and managed by Concord Hospitality, the six story, 165-suite Homewood Suites Springfield, VA is led by General Manager Christopher Tyner and supported by Director of Sales Armando Lazarte.  The hotel is located at 7010 Old Keene Mill Road, and provides guests easy access to government and military agencies including the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Securit, and a number of companies including Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, SAIC, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Calibre.
