Owned and Operated by Wurzak Hotel Group the 180-room Sheraton
Valley Forge Hotel Opens in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

STAMFORD, Conn.--Sep. 21, 2012-- Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) today announced the opening of Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel in King of Prussia, just 18 minutes from downtown Philadelphia. The highly anticipated property offers a vibrant, open atmosphere and all of the Sheraton brand’s recently improved amenities and services. Owned and operated by Wurzak Hotel Group, Sheraton Valley Forge features 180 rooms, extensive, state-of-the-art meeting facilities and a Sheraton Club Lounge.

“We are delighted to grow the Sheraton brand in greater Philadelphia by offering travelers a great location within the bustling King of Prussia business corridor,” said Hoyt Harper, Senior Vice President, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. “At Sheraton Valley Forge, guests will experience a stylish setting where they can make connections while enjoying the brand’s recently enhanced amenities and services.”

Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel is located near the King of Prussia Mall, Longwood Gardens, Valley Forge National Historic Park and the offices of several Fortune 500 companies. Just minutes from Philadelphia’s newest casino and the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, the hotel is also convenient to the historic attractions and museums of downtown Philadelphia. Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is less than 30 miles away.

The lobby’s dynamic open design is enhanced by soaring, 25 foot ceilings, an abundance of natural light and custom-designed furniture. At the heart of the lobby is the signature “Link@Sheraton(R) experience with Microsoft®” – the brand’s social connectivity hub. All guest rooms are outfitted with the all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper® bed, designed to meet AAA’s Five Diamond Award® criteria, an oversized work desk, ergonomic chair, high-speed Internet and 42-inch flat panel television. Sheraton Club guests will enjoy upgraded amenities, as well as complimentary breakfast, beverages and evening hors d’oeuvres in the Sheraton Club Lounge.

“As the leading full-service hotel in the area, Sheraton Valley Forge offers guests all the brand’s recently improved amenities in an unbeatable location,” said Howard J. Wurzak, Chairman and CEO, Wurzak Hotel Group. “This is one of our most innovative projects, complete with eye-catching design elements and a sleek, yet cozy atmosphere that sets it apart from the other hotels in the area.”

Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel provides more than 25,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting space including 13 conference rooms and two executive board rooms. Additional amenities include an indoor pool and full-service restaurant. The hotel’s fitness facility features the brand’s revolutionary new health and fitness program, Sheraton Fitness, Programmed by Core Performance, designed exclusively for Sheraton guests through its partner Core Performance.

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, like all brands within Starwood’s robust portfolio, is proud to offer the Starwood Preferred Guest® program, which made headlines when it launched in 1999 with a breakthrough policy of no blackout dates on Free Night Awards. SPG® offers members the ability to redeem awards at more resorts, more luxury properties, more European hotels and more golf properties than any other hotel program.
