McLEAN, Va. – May 17, 2012 – Hilton Worldwide today announced it has signed a management agreement with Desarrollos RDC, S.A., a real estate development company in the Dominican Republic, to introduce its Embassy Suites by Hilton brand, an upscale, all suite offering, to Santo Domingo’s central business district. Scheduled to open in Q2 2013, this hotel marks the second Embassy Suites by Hilton in the Dominican Republic and will be the third property in the country for Hilton Worldwide, which currently manages the Hilton Santo Domingo.

Located on Avenida Tiradentes in the Naco section of Santo Domingo and forming part of the high-end Silversun Gallery commercial complex, Embassy Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo will feature 200 spacious two-room suites equipped with a separate living area, private bedroom, and wet bar fitted with a microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker. Suites will also be equipped with two flat-screen high-definition televisions. In addition, the property will offer complimentary fitness and business centers.
The new hotel will also welcome guests to the brand’s signature features such as an inviting atrium environment, where guests will have access to complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast and evening Manager’s Reception* with complimentary appetizers and beverage. In addition, Embassy Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo will offer more than 16,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, including two ballrooms, break out rooms, and a meeting room, as well as 4,300 square feet of outdoor events space. The complex will contain a three-level shopping mall with retail shops, five movie theaters, food court, children’s entertainment area and five levels of underground parking.
