Sales Force with a Trio of Industry Experts
Calgary, Alberta December 16, 2011: – Guest-tek Interactive Entertainment is expanding once again, this time growing our Sales force with a trio of knowledge based sales professional well versed in the latest interactive trends hitting the hospitality market. Guest-tek’s strong growth has been fuelled by their latest solutions involving Interactive TV, Free to Guest Digital and IPTV as well as our core product offering known as OneViewTM Internet for a fully integrated solution for HSIA and network management. These new team members will further assist in delivering on our latest successes that includes the completion of one of Guest-tek’s largest deployments of more than 50,000 rooms with our HD Interactive TV solution. "We are thrilled to have three dynamic individuals, each with a proven track record of experience and expertise, join our team," said Don Moore, Chief Marketing Officer of Guest-tek. "All three are industry experts with diverse knowledge of the hospitality industry. The addition of these three to our team, along with several other recent notable hires, offers a breadth of knowledge that is invaluable to our customers as we continually strive to provide the highest level of solutions in the marketplace. We look forward to continued growth and success as they join the company and focus on continuing to enhance the client experience." The new team members are:
Previously with STR (Smith Travel
Research), Erin was responsible for
introducing performance benchmarking data into the Canadian independent
hotel
market and increasing usage of these reports in northern US independent
properties. Also, she regularly presented at Management Company
and
state/regional hospitality and tourism conferences—educating hoteliers
and
industry suppliers on the state of the hospitality industry across
North
America. She attended Emory University (Atlanta) and St.
Mary’s
University (Halifax), graduating with a BSc in Chemistry and
Psychology.
Erin has recently relocated back to Canada from Tennessee and will be
based out
of the Calgary office.
Laura began her career in
Hospitality Sales with StayOnline, Inc. in
2004. After StayOnline’s acquisition by LodgeNet in 2007, she
served as a
Director of Major Accounts for the Broadband Division, selling HSIA to
hotel
brands and major ownership groups throughout the US. Most
recently, Laura
held the position of National Account Manager at MIS Associates,
Inc., a
Mitel Hospitality Specialist for telecommunication equipment. Her
technology background and industry experience will be a valuable asset
to the
organization.
Shawn comes to Guest-Tek from
PSAV, Presentation Services where he has
spent eight years as the Vice President of Strategic Accounts and also
held two
Vice President of Sales leadership roles. Shawn was responsible
for
driving strategy and growth within PSAV’s largest customer account and
lead
sales teams within the North American and Global sales organization.
Prior to
PSAV, Shawn worked for PurchasePro, Starwood Hotels & Resorts,
Micros/Fidelio and started his career working for Delta Hotels in
Canada.
