the transition of all PCH Hotels & Resorts to their fully-converged
OneView™ HSIA platform. Following the installation at The Battle House,
in
Mobile, AL, Guest-Tek’s OneView™
Internet will provide first-class connection service to more than 2,000 guest rooms and more than 335,000 sq ft of meeting room space across PCH’s 8 Alabama properties. The eight PCH hotels, known as the Resort Collection of Alabama Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, range from 90 to more than 400 guest rooms and have meeting spaces of all sizes. The hotels combine advanced technology, a resort atmosphere and Marriott expertise. Winners of multiple service excellent awards from the Marriot and Renaissance brands, PCH properties are regularly listed on Zagat’s Top US Hotels and Spas. PCH Resorts was looking for a solution for their properties that would let each hotel benefit from a new revenue stream as well as reduce their operating cost. Utilizing Guest-Tek’s OneView Internet solution, which includes meeting management capabilities, the hotels can now seamlessly manage in-house groups with pass codes, public IPs, and bandwidth allocation. These features, combined with custom solutions from Guest-Tek’s Event Services team and a comprehensive reporting tool, have allowed the hotels to increase both efficiency and revenue.
