News for the Hospitality Executive
Orlando, FL – June 8, 2011 – Intelity, the “most innovative” and revolutionary hospitality technology company, has partnered with Eccleston Square Hotel to reinvent the ‘city’ hotel room with its award-winning ICE Touch (Interactive Customer Experience™) on iPad in each one of its 40 guest rooms. The partnership positions Eccleston Square as the first hotel in Europe to offer the iPad 2 as a standard room feature, creating a unique and luxurious guest experience while dramatically improving the hotel’s operations.
Scheduled to open July 2011, Eccleston Square Hotel has transformed its interior with high tech features and beautiful modern design. The deployment of Intelity’s technology will grant guests access to hotel services and local information instantaneously. Powered by ICE Touch software, each in-room iPad 2 allows guests to select from a wide range of services including room controls (open/close curtains, adjust temperature and light control), in-room dining, restaurant reservations, spa appointments, personal training sessions, housekeeping requests, and much more. The guest experience continues to be enhanced beyond the hotel walls with Intelity’s ICE Mobile app which allows guests to access many of the features of their in-room system from their own mobile devices.
Aside from providing this luxury service, ICE technology helps to increase hotel efficiency and customer satisfaction with its revolutionary backend management tool. ICE does this by fully integrating with the hotel’s property management systems, allowing management to track and chart guest requests and response times.
“The expansion of our ICE products into the European market further solidifies that the hospitality technology revolution has gone global,” said Intelity CEO, David Adelson. “We look forward to implementing our cutting edge technology and we’re confident our product will help Eccleston Square provide a high standard of luxury for its guests and assist them in meeting their business goals.”
Since opening their doors in 2007, Intelity has quadrupled its office space, grown from 3 to over 30 employees and will have its technology installed in more than 500,000 hotel rooms throughout North America, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean by December 2011. Adding to their success, ICE has been recognized twice in the past four months as the most ground-breaking technology in the hotel industry. First with the industry’s highest honor, Hotel Technology Next Generation’s (HTNG) “Most Innovative Award,” and most recently, the Visionary Award by Hospitality Technology Magazine, which was presented to Intelity’s hospitality partner, Morgans Hotel Group, for the deployment of ICE Touch on iPad at its famed Royalton Hotel in New York.
Intelity, headquartered in Orlando, Florida, is a hospitality software solution company focused on the self-service marketplace. Its ICE software with guest interface and “ICS” (ICE Control System) backend management was the recipient in 2011 of the industry’s “Most Innovative Hospitality Technology” award in a global vote by hoteliers. Intelity designs its software/hardware products with a focus on generating higher hotel revenues, reducing operating costs and increasing guest satisfaction.
