Roomlinx Installs First Ever Free-to-Guest VOD Solution
at Sleep Inn & Suites in Minot, ND
Roomlinx completes install of
CO – March 24, 2009 – The Sleep Inn & Suites, Minot, ND, has entered
into a 5-year agreement with Roomlinx Inc. (OTC: RMLX - News), to provide
Roomlinx’ Interactive TV solution in 80 guestrooms. Guests will have instant
access to hotel services, movies, international and U.S. television programming,
music, local news / weather / business / sports updates, shopping, business
productivity tools, concierge assistance, games and more via the in-room
television. Roomlinx has installed 80 of the 176 rooms at the Sleep
Inn with a full installation scheduled to be completed by July of 2009.
The 80 installed rooms are live and operating today.
Vance Castleman, owner of the Sleep Inn, stated, “This is the first free-to-guest video on demand system in the United States in a hotel.” The Roomlinx in-room system provides guests with free, unlimited access to the internet, movies, business tools and more.
“The Roomlinx project management and deployment teams did an excellent job,” said Larry Hatfield, Director of IT. “Their attention to detail and professionalism was outstanding.”
Castleman, who has owned and operated several successful hotel ventures, said, “I love the flexibility of the system and the ability to brand it and highlight Sleep Inn features. The Roomlinx system is dynamic and allows for quick updates to information provided to the guest.”

Sleep Inn guests can now enjoy HD content on a flat screen TV, internet, music and more, all while being reinforced with the property’s image. By partnering with Roomlinx - which now serves as a one-stop-shop for high-speed Internet, Free to Guest TV, in-room business services, virtual concierge assistance, and entertainment - a hotel can lower its costs for these products and services by bundling with Roomlinx.
