DENVER,
CO June 17, 2008 The Country Inn & Suites, Merrillville, Ind.,
has entered into an agreement with Roomlinx Inc. (OTC: RMLX - News), to
provide Roomlinx new In-Room Media, Entertainment & Business solution
in select guestrooms. Guests will have instant access to hotel services,
movies, international and U.S. television programming, music, local news
/ weather / business / sports updates, shopping, business productivity
tools, concierge assistance, and PC / Web-based games via the in-room television.
The Roomlinx system is a true one-stop-shop guest service tool, said Sanjay Patel, property owner. Everything a business or leisure traveler could need in the guestroom is provided directly from Roomlinx Web pages will link our guests to concierge services, local dining and entertainment spots, news, weather and more. Guests dont ever have to leave the room or bring their laptops while traveling. The Roomlinx system actually transforms my limited-service hotel into a full-service hotel, Patel said. The Roomlinx solution offers hotels the most advanced, innovative information and communication devices available. Through solid partnerships, Roomlinx brings to every guest room a unique system that includes: a 32-inch HDTV, Windows-based media console, Wireless Keyboard and Remote with Integrated Mouse, Roomlinx Media & Entertainment Software Package, 24/7/365 Help Desk Support and, if needed, a complete HSIA network upgrade. Typically such a feature-rich in-room amenity package like Roomlinx has only been geared toward the full-service or upper-tier hotel segment, Patel said. Through this install, were giving travelers in the limited-service arena the same chance to use this solution. Initially, Roomlinx will be placed in 10 rooms. Based on use and guest feedback, we will then determine if a property-wide rollout is required. Patel, who owns multiple properties in the Midwest, said based on the anticipated success of Roomlinx in Merrillville, he believes he will soon bring the solution to more properties. Roomlinx was recently beta-tested at The Jet hotel in Denver. The Country Inn & Suites Merrillville is the first hotel to purchase Roomlinx as a solution. Installation is expected to be complete by mid-July. Our In-Room Media, Entertainment & Business solution not only gives guests instant access to a host of information, but its a dynamic way to add non-traditional revenue to the hotels bottom line, said Roomlinx President Mike Wasik. We believe that the Country Inn & Suites will be thrilled with feedback it receives from its guest users, and Sanjay will quickly see the additional branding benefits of using this unique marketing tool to promote his property to the local market. Roomlinx gives the Country Inn & Suites Merrillville the ability to generate revenues through e-commerce relationships, local and national advertising partnerships, business services and video on demand, he said. As excited as Sanjay is to roll out our system, we are equally as excited to partner with a limited-service brand such as Country Inn & Suites by Carlson. Initial feedback from our beta hotel leads us to believe that Roomlinx will be installed property-wide in a very short time and in more hotels owned by Sanjay Patel. By partnering with Roomlinx which now serves as a one-stop-shop for high-speed Internet, in-room business services, concierge assistance and entertainment programming a hotel can lower its costs for product installation and Internet connectivity because there is no capital outlay required by the property. Roomlinx offers streamlined bandwidth and the ability to consolidate technology services, therefore lowering other operating expenses. About
