L.D. and Marilyn Davis of Great Bend, Kans., own the Best Western�North Wichita / Park City, formerly known as the Wichita Red Coach Inn � North, along with Irene Whitlock, of McPherson, Kans., who also serves as the hotel�s general manager. Under the agreement with Leisure Hotels, L.L.C., the hotel will receive a full slate of services including accounting, employee training and benefits, inventory and cash control, information systems, volume purchasing and market development. Leisure Hotels, L.L.C., the management division of the Leisure Group of Companies, assumed operation of the facility on June 15, 2001.

The Best Western � North Wichita / Park City hotel, located just north of Interstate 135 at 915 E. 53rd Street North, three miles from the Kansas Coliseum and just 15 minutes from Wichita�s Mid-Continent Airport, is a major convention center for the Wichita / Park City area providing meeting and banquet accommodations for as many as 500 or as few as 30, through flexible configurations of the hotel�s six different meeting rooms. 

The 152-unit, 2-story brick facility offers 10 Honeymoon suites with in-room whirlpool tubs and 142 standard rooms with king or queen beds. 

In the agreement effective June 6, 2001, L.D. and Marilyn Davis of Great Bend, Kans., owners of the Days Inn � North Wichita / Park City hotel, engaged Leisure Hotels, L.L.C. to provide a full slate of operational services including management of all accounting practices, employee training and benefits, inventory and cash control, information systems, volume purchasing and market development. Diana Nunley continues as general manager of the hotel, which opened seven years ago.

The 2-story brick facility features 48 king or queen bedded units with Cable TV and HBO, data-ports, and in-room hair dryers. Interior access with electronic door locks is provided for all units including two ADA accessible units and 30 units designated as non-smoking. Guests are treated each morning to a free continental breakfast of donuts, choice of juice, coffee and tea. 

Located just north of Interstate 135, Days Inn � North Wichita / Park City is 3 miles from Kansas Coliseum.
