San Diego, CA May 8, 1999 - Nina Sciuto, Assistant
Director of Human Resources for San Diego Paradise Point Resort, was honored
with the prestigious Travelers Aid Help on the Move Award at an awards
luncheon Friday, May 7, 1999. Nina was chosen among finalists from
around San Diego County as the recipient of this highly coveted award.
Nina received the award for her tireless efforts and selfless devotion
as a bilingual wish granter for the San Diego Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Nina volunteers her time outside of work year-round to help make the dreams
of children living with life-threatening illnesses come true.
Due
to the resorts eleven-year involvement with the Make-A-Wish Foundation,
Nina was sought out by the Foundation to volunteer as a bilingual wish
granter. Nina warmly accepted the opportunity and has since been
involved throughout the past year helping to make childrens wishes come
true in the Hispanic communities of San Diego.
