The 108-suite Home2 Suites by Hilton Baltimore/White Marsh Opens in Maryland

McLean, Va. (April 1, 2013) – Home2 Suites by Hilton, the award-winning mid-tier, all-suite hotel brand designed for modern business travelers and extended-stay guests, announced the opening of its 17th U.S. hotel, the Home2 Suites by Hilton Baltimore/White Marsh. The first guest to check-in today received a Home2 welcome gift basket.

The four-story, 108-suite hotel is owned by White Marsh Hospitality I, LLC and managed by Baywood Hotels, Inc.  Located at 10465 Philadelphia Road in White Marsh, the Home2 Suites by Hilton Baltimore/White Marsh is positioned close to Interstate 95 in the White Marsh business district.  Guests have easy access to a number of local corporations including, General Motors, Lockheed Martin and Aberdeen Proving Grounds.  The property is located just minutes from many local attractions including, the White Marsh Mall, Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Baltimore National Aquarium and THE AVENUE at White Marsh.

The Baltimore/White Marsh property features an indoor saline swimming pool, in addition to a walking trail that winds around the property.  The hotel also offers easy access to technology and inviting community spaces, as well as the trademark Home2 Suites amenities standard in all properties, such as the Oasis lobby area, the Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, the Spin2 Cycle, a combined laundry and fitness area, and free continental breakfast at the Inspired Table that includes a variety of morning favorites like a hot breakfast sandwich.

Home2 Suites by Hilton currently operates 17 hotels and has nearly 70 properties in its development pipeline. The brand currently has 13 properties under active construction in Jackson/Ridgeland, Miss.; Philadelphia, Pa.; Rahway, N.J.; Rochester, N.Y.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; Baltimore/Aberdeen, Md.; Austin, Texas; Nashville, Tenn.; Memphis-Southaven, Miss.; Salt Lake City/South Jordan, Utah; Denver, Colo.; Florida City, Fla.; and Querétaro, Mexico. Future properties are slated for many of the nation’s major markets, including Houston, Atlanta and Washington, D.C. Home2 Suites has also signed its first deal to open a property in Edmonton, Canada.
