and marketing for Destination Hotels & Resorts, announces the promotion
of Alex Gregory to director of sales and marketing for Wild Dunes Resort.
Gregory has more than 12 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry.
He most recently was the director of group sales for Wild Dunes Resort
where he also was recognized as the 2005 Outstanding Sales Leader for Destination
Hotels & Resorts.
“Working with Alex, I have been extremely impressed with his enthusiasm and dedication,” said Wild Dunes Resort Vice President and Managing Director Terri A. Haack. “His knowledge of the hospitality industry and his expertise in the sales and marketing fields have allowed him to transition into this new role with ease.”
In his new role, Gregory will oversee all aspects of the sales and marketing departments including execution of group sales and marketing business plans and budgets. Gregory will continue to serve on the Wild Dunes Resort Executive Committee.

In his career prior to joining Wild Dunes Resort, Gregory held several sales management positions within the thriving hospitality industry of Charleston, S.C., including The Mills House Hotel and Doubletree Guest Suites. Gregory is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va.
