will power direct sales with Travel Tripper’s
RezTripTM 2.0 booking engine
Vegas and New York (November 9, 2010) – Las Vegas Sands Corp., the
developer of integrated resorts, today announced that it will implement
Tripper’s RezTripTM 2.0 booking engine at five of its
worldwide. When integration is complete, customers will book
and other products and services through the RezTripTM
for The Venetian and The Palazzo on the Las Vegas Strip, the Marina Bay
in Singapore, The Venetian Macao, and Sands Bethlehem in Pennsylvania –
with a total of almost 14,000 luxury resort rooms.
According to Rom Hendler, Corporate VP of Strategic Marketing for Las Vegas Sands Corp., “We evaluated custom-build options as well as many existing online booking engines and chose Travel Tripper because of their innovative technology, impressive team, and capability to expand their solution over time to support our direct sales needs beyond hotel web bookings. RezTripTM will better enable us to promote Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s unique guest experience from the moment consumers reach any of our websites.”
Travel Tripper’s new 2.0 version of RezTripTM streamlines the consumer shopping experience. Using RezTripTM ’s powerful pricing capabilities, hotels can present consistent and logical pricing to consumers across rooms, rates, and packages. RezTripTM 2.0 enables guests to book up to five rooms at a time at different room rates and even for different dates. Guests can email in-progress reservations to co-travelers who can review or complete the booking, a feature which is perfect for the small unorganized group segment that forms a large component of Las Vegas visitors. The booking engine has full multi-lingual and multi-currency capabilities making it an excellent sales tool for hotels anywhere in the world.
