Customer Direct and Travel Tripper team up to offer
best in class hotel call center services

St. Louis and New York (September 1, 2010) – Customer Direct, LLC and Travel Tripper, LLC have created a new, best of breed call center offering for hotels in North America.  The solution leverages Travel Tripper’s leading booking engine technology and Customer Direct’s award winning call center solution.

“The Hotel industry is clamoring for a high quality, US based, reservation call center that can effectively service the still important voice reservation calls,” says Scott Brodows, Executive Vice President for Travel Tripper.  He continues, “We have found that the highly trained voice reservations agents at Customer Direct can book rooms using our booking engine’s unique workflow and up-selling tools to improve conversation rates by up to 40%.”

The two companies have developed a unique process for handling voice reservations for hotels that combines the best practices of Travel Tripper’s online booking engine and the sales process that Customer Direct employs for its voice reservation services.   Customer Direct agents can access the same rates and availability as hotel guests to insure that rates are offered consistently between the hotel’s web site and voice reservation channels.

“Guest Direct and Travel Tripper have significantly improved our voice reservation business since we implemented with them.” said Savio D'Souza Director of Revenue Management for Hotel Thirty-Thirty in NY.

As part of the Agreement, the companies will consolidate reports so hoteliers can see a unified view of reservations across the hotel’s web site and its toll-free reservation line.  “The integrated information system that we are constructing will have tremendous value for Hotel Revenue Managers and Reservation Managers”, says Robert Nolan Jr., President of Customer Direct, who goes on to say, “We will offer the ability to review both web-based and voice reservations from a single web page, including service level statistics and results by marketing channel. “ We believe that many of our voice reservation customers can realize a significant benefit by deploying the RezTrip system on their website.”

In addition to offering the joint call center product, the two companies will market and distribute the other company’s products and services.
