Travel Tripper Takes Bigger Bite of the Big Apple with Apple Core Hotels

Early leader in online hotel distribution selects Travel Tripper’s RezTrip 2.0 booking engine
to help drive online sales for its five Mid-Manhattan properties.


April 19, 2010—Apple Core Hotels, an early adopter of the web as a distribution channel, has decided to take back control of online reservations with local online reservation solution provider Travel Tripper.

While they will continue to distribute through online travel agencies, Apple Core Hotels will shift more sales to their direct websites to reduce costs and increase Average Daily Rates, something they are confident they can do with Travel Tripper’s new booking engine.
 
“Travel Tripper’s RezTrip 2.0 booking engine is the piece of technology we need to reassert ourselves online, especially in the international market. Because of our central Manhattan property locations near so many landmarks, we source our business globally as well as domestically. RezTrip 2.0’s dynamic pricing capabilities will allow us to target offers based on market geographies and other market segments we revenue manage. In the early to mid-1990s, when the hospitality industry was just recognizing the importance of the internet for hotel business, Apple Core Hotels had already established an online presence for its five popular mid-Manhattan properties.
