MICROS OPERA Endorsed By Best Western International With
Certified Two-Way Interface to Best Western’s
Central Reservation System
Columbia, MD — March 14, 2007 - MICROS Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:MCRS), a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, is pleased to announce that MICROS has been endorsed by Best Western International and has received certification on its Two-Way interface between Best Western’s Central Reservation System (CRS) and MICROS OPERA Enterprise Solution.

As an Endorsed Vendor of Best Western International, the MICROS OPERA Enterprise Solution, including OPERA Xpress, is approved by Best Western International as a certified property management software platform for over 2,400 hotels in North America.

The certified Two-Way interface will allow Best Western properties to streamline the hotel reservation process more effectively and efficiently by eliminating duplicate efforts and manual data entry errors. Best Western guests will be pleased to find that regardless of how they book their reservation, either directly at the property, via the Best Western website, or by contacting the Best Western Call Center, their reservation information will be available to view at multiple points of contact.

“Best Western is dedicated to ensuring our hotels are implementing products that have been evaluated and certified to meet our strict guidelines,” stated Denise Heinrichs, Director, Property Systems Services. “We have every confidence in the OPERA Enterprise Solution to provide the tools necessary for optimizing the guest experience at our hotels, and we are happy to offer this world-class product to our members.”

“We are very pleased to have been chosen as an endorsed vendor by Best Western International,” said Laura Kirby, Vice President of Hotels and Government for MICROS Systems, Inc. “MICROS has a long history of providing world-class products and customer service, and we know that Best Western International holds similar standards for its members.
