Maestro Enterprise Suite Leverages Strong Functionality for Multi-Property Operating Companies, Delivers Centralized Management, Cross-Selling, CRM Advantages

Markham, ON - April 22, 2003 – NORTHWIND today announced the widely installed Maestro Enterprise Suite of applications for management companies and hotels just became more versatile.  The Maestro Enterprise & Maestro Multi-Property Solutions are now able to drive room sales and facilitate real-time corporate control of all system operation for multiple-property hotel groups. Using one or more servers, the Maestro Enterprise Suite, with single image inventory for last room selling, is managing entire hotel groups, as well as standalone properties.

Maestro Enterprise is a full-function property management suite used by multi-property groups to share information between sales & catering, club/spa, PMS, accounts receivable, Internet reservations (ResEze), condo/owner, work order and yield management systems for greater control. When a guest makes a reservation anywhere in the enterprise it is immediately reflected across the entire operation through single image inventory for accurate enterprise availability. The flexibility of the system allows utilization of ASP or VPN architectures, Windows or Unix OS, and includes an on-line, real-time GDS reservation engine interface that increases room revenue and reduces labor costs through Internet bookings.

Maestro Front Office – At the center of Maestro Enterprise Suite is the Front Office system.  In use at hotels with from 1,700 to 25 rooms, this solid, scaleable PMS is easy to use and learn with single-screen graphics that incorporate group, package, accounts receivable, guest history, and other hotel management modules.

Maestro Sales & Catering -- This module allows you to manage group-convention sales, and all function rooms for your enterprise, whether it is one property or a portfolio of hotels, with a coordinated strategy for selling sleeping rooms and meeting space that makes last-room sales a reality and meets all group and convention client needs.

Maestro CRM – This gives managers the information needed to make best business decisions when booking new business.  Customer data is fully accessible on one database for all applications.

Maestro Club/Spa Management – Club/Spa enables resorts, properties and clubs to schedule and bill for the use of their facilities and activities with real-time integration to the Front Desk, A/R and Guest History modules centralizing client information & billing.

Maestro Condo/Owner Management – Also included is an in-depth fully integrated Condo/Ownership accounting module that provides multiple ownership classifications, flexible period configurations, rental pools, fixed expense programming, and revenue distribution formulas.

ResEze Realtime Online Internet Reservations - The ResEze Web booking engine enables independent and multi-property hotels to take advantage of the growing Internet revenue opportunity, empowering guests to make reservations on-line from a property’s own Web site or other location.  It is fully integrated to Maestro PMS and affected by yield strategies.

Maestro Yield Management – This is a pro-active revenue manager that makes sophisticated strategies easy to implement for groups of properties and multiple reservation channels.

Maestro Enterprise also provides Central Reservations (CRO) with two-way interfaces to corporate systems for central accounts receivable, and corporate travel agency accounting to support loyalty programs, guest recognition, information sharing and data mining throughout a single or multi-property organization.
