Asia-Pacific� to Debut in Hong Kong in June, 2002 |
March, 18, 2002 - The School of Hotel & Tourism Management at the
Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the leading hospitality and tourism education
provider in Asia, is pleased to announce the first in a series of executive
programs for MICE industry professionals in the Asia-Pacific region. The
program, focusing on �Convention Management: Association and Corporate
Meetings,� will be held from June 2- June 4, 2002 in Hong Kong.
This three day residential course offers an exciting opportunity for
industry professionals and academics to enhance their knowledge of convention
and meeting management practices and trends. It has been designed under
the guidance of Mrs. Amy Chan, the former Executive Director of the Hong
Kong Tourist Association, who is now an honorary professor in the School.
A special feature of the course is the �Tapping New Markets� theme, and
an introduction to the China Meeting Market. Course session leaders include
top meeting industry professionals from Mainland China, Hong Kong and the
Asia-Pacific region.
