The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Offers
International Scholarships for Master�s and Ph.D. 
Degrees in Hotel and Tourism Management

January 2002 - The Hong Kong Polytechnic University�s School of Hotel and Tourism Management (HTM) offers several scholarships for international students to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree or research-based Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree programs.

Successful candidates for the Ph.D. program will receive a monthly stipend of approximately HK$16,000 (approximately US$2,000) per month on a 12-month basis up to three years.  Additional financial support will be available to sponsor students� dissertation research project.  In addition, each full-time student will be provided with a conference travel allowance of HK$20,000 (approximately US$2,500) for the duration of the study. For the 2001-2002 academic year, annual tuition fees for full-time research students are HK$42,100, which do not include living expenses, books, transport or other costs.  Successful candidates for the MSc scholarship will be offered HK$40,000 (approximately US$5,000) for the duration of their one-year study program.
