 John Daily Appointed Vice President of Hotel Operations for Dwyer Hotels and Resorts
Miguel Espina Named Corporate Director of Food and Beverage
OCEAN CITY, N.J., May 22, 2000 -  Dwyer Hotels & Resorts, previously known as Dwyer Hospitality Group, has recently added two new professionals to their team � John Daily as the New Vice President of Hotel Operations and Miguel Espina as the Corporate Director of Food and Beverage. 

Daily�s primary responsibilities will center on the management of the Dwyer hotel properties in Philadelphia, P.A., Bermuda, Ocean City, N.J. and Linwood, N.J.

�John�s impressive experience, coupled with his intimate knowledge of the hospitality industry, made him the perfect choice for our new vice president of hotel operations,� said Jim Dwyer, president and owner of James M. Dwyer Real Estate Equities International, the parent company for Dwyer Hotels & Resorts. 

Prior to joining Dwyer Hotels, Daily was the Area Managing Director for Starwood Hotels, based in Nashua, N.H., where he was responsible for a 350-room Sheraton and six additional properties. Daily also served as the Vice President of Operations for HEI Hotels, headquartered in Westport, C.T.. Daily was responsible for HEI�s owned and managed franchised hotels throughout the United States. 

Throughout his 20 years of experience, Daily was also a general manager for a number of Marriott Hotels throughout the nation, which lead to the prestigious honor of begin named �The General Manager of the Year� in Colorado Springs, C.O.

As the Corporate Director of Food and Beverage, Espina will be responsible for the management of restaurants, banquets, corporate meetings and other related events for all of the Dwyer Hotels & Resorts properties.
 

With 38 years of hospitality experience, Espina � originally from La Habana, Cuba � joins Dwyer from the Radisson Hotels where he served as the Executive Assistant Manager of Food and Beverage. While with Radisson, Espina transformed the Radisson Aruba from a three-star property to a five-star resort. He was then transferred to the Radisson Slavjanskaya in Moscow, Russia to re-engineer the Food and Beverage operations of this five-star, 430-room property. Total F&B revenues were in excess of $8 million.

Prior to Radisson, Espina served as the Regional Director of Food and Beverage for Kahler Lodging, where he was
