Gene Castellitto Accepts Post at The Charles F. Knight Center

PHILADELPHIA, PA July, 2003 ARAMARK Harrison Lodging executives Lisa Wilson and Gene Castellitto have both been appointed to new general manager posts within the companys extensive portfolio.  Wilson is currently general manager at Arbor Day Farms Lied Lodge & Conference Center in Nebraska City, Nebraska, which joined ARAMARK Harrison Lodging earlier this year.  Castellitto assumes Wilsons previous general manager duties at The Charles F. Knight Center at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.  He was formerly general manager at The Boeing Leadership Center in Florissant, Missouri, a private center within the portfolio.

Lisa and Gene are both valued members of the ARAMARK Harrison Lodging family, said Rory Loberg, executive vice president of ARAMARK Harrison Lodging.  Both properties will benefit from their considerable talents and expertise, and these moves will also provide them with excellent opportunities to be challenged and grow with us.

Wilsons position at Arbor Day Farms Lied Lodge & Conference Center comes at the start of ARAMARK Harrison Lodgings new operating partnership with the National Arbor Day Foundation, the propertys owner.  She has been with ARAMARK since 1997 and held posts with The William F. Bolger Center for Leadership Development in Potomac, Maryland, and The Boeing Leadership Center before coming on board The Charles F. Knight Center in 2001.  She joined the property just before its opening.

Before her tenure with ARAMARK, Wilson was the executive chef and food & beverage director at The Hotel Lombardy in Washington, D.C. and also served in culinary positions at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Pentagon City, Virginia.

Castellitto, who joined ARAMARK in 1997 as well, comes to The Charles F. Knight Center as general manager after similar positions with The Boeing Leadership Center and Xerox Document University (now National Conference Center) in Leesburg, Virginia, both part of ARAMARK Harrison Lodging.  Prior, Castellitto spent 15 years with Marriott International, Inc. in general manager posts at several New York conference centers in its portfolio.  These include Edith Macy Conference Center in Briarcliff Manor, IBM Palisades Executive Conference Center in Palisades and General Electric Management Development Institute in Ossining.  From 1994 1997, Castellitto held the positions of Secretary and Vice President of the Westchester County (New York) Hotel Association.

Castellitto holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration / Marketing from Manhattan College in the Bronx.  He is married with two sons.

Arbor Day Farms Lied Lodge & Conference Center is a world class facility complete with 14,000 square feet of meeting space and 144 guestrooms on 260 acres.  Located on-site is the Arnold Palmer-designed championship ArborLinks Golf Course, which serves as a model for environmentally friendly courses.  The facility offers a distinct, distraction-free setting where meeting attendees can truly immerse themselves in the business at hand.  At the same time, it honors the mission of its parent organization, The National Arbor Day Foundation, with environmentally sensitive operations and education.

The Charles F. Knight Center opened in July 2001 as a state-of-the-art conference center on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis.  It is complete with 66 elegantly furnished guestrooms, six high-tech classrooms with capacities for up to 106, 27 breakout rooms, dining facilities and a fitness center.  Because of its association with Washington Universitys Olin School of Business, the environment stimulates creative and strategic thinking, and attendees have access to campus resources.
