LMS Kiosk is a self-service system that expedites front desk check-in and check-out. Using LMS Kiosk, hotel guests can check in, encode a room key, check out and obtain a receipt � all without having to wait in line at the front desk. An internal printer produces both a registration slip and a guest folio. Real-time monitoring alerts hotel staff when paper and key cards are low, and operational settings are controlled from locations the hotel chooses.

LMS Kiosk allows guests to obtain copies of their folios at anytime during a stay, without checking out. Guests may also choose to have folio receipts e-mailed or mailed to an address based on information in the LMS property management system. Special messages and printed instructions can be provided to guests based on management defined criteria.

LMS Itinerary Manager is a Web-based software program designed to provide one-stop shopping for hotel guests. Using the Internet, guests can plan an entire stay at a hotel including room reservations, restaurant reservations, tee times, tennis lessons, theater ticketing and even off-site activities. The software allows hotels to customize user fields, store credit card information and e-mail guest itineraries. Travel agents can access LMS Itinerary Manager to make reservations for their clients.

LMS Itinerary Manager offers the capability to collect valuable marketing and customer preference information, which is stored in the master database. �The new software is linked to the hotel�s property management system, which means the applications speak to each other,� said Tina Stehle, Vice President of Software Development for LMS. �A hotel can use the data to target marketing efforts.� The software also allows hotels to recognize guests according to a variety of factors such as number of visits and dollars spent per year. Special packages can be created according to a guest�s value to the property.

LMS eForms is a software program that improves the way hotels produce documents. By incorporating a unique feature called Intelligent Output Reduction, LMS eForms can create documents that not only look better but also cost less. The software reformats data to reduce the amount of time and the number of pages needed to produce documents such as registration cards, invoices, room confirmations, guest folios and statements. A special design tool allows hotels to add custom features such as floating headers, logos, promotional material and bar codes. The LMS eForms package can also be used with any application�s spool file without programming. 

Using LMS eForms, a hotel can distribute documents based on information in its spool file. The software has the ability to capture fax numbers from the spool file and send documents to a single fax number. Hotels can direct documents to a web server in a PDF format, send them via e-mail or fax, or print them using a postscript, PCL laser or bar code printer. Using LMS eForms, a hotel can save thousands of dollars a year on pre-printed forms, toner and paper costs while also enhancing its image.
