| MILWAUKEE (Oct. 29, 2001) � Baymont Inns &
Suites and Woodfield Suites is pleased to announce the recent promotion
of Tish Brown to director of group and leisure travel for both brands.
In her new role, Ms. Brown will be responsible for coordinating programs
in the Motorcoach/Tour and Sports Group markets, AAA and FIT Wholesale,
which is a group of international tour operators.
�In the short time Tish has been with us, she has shown the kind of
leadership needed to help Baymont achieve �Best in Class,�� said Craig
Farrell, senior vice president of marketing and sales. �We are confident
that Tish will successfully represent and help us build the Baymont and
Woodfield Suites brands for years to come.�
| Ms. Brown has been with the company
for the past 18 months, when she joined as a regional sales director.
She rose to the national sales team in January 2001. Previously,
Ms. Brown spent six years in the tour and travel industry working with
group and leisure tours, and also owned her own company managing sales
and marketing in the tour market segment.
�I am excited to take on this new challenge with Baymont Inns &
Suites and Woodfield Suites,� said Ms. Brown. �With our great rates
and quality products we are ideally suited for the motorcoach market �
it will be a pleasure to get the word out.�
Ms. Brown resides in St. Louis, Mo. She is married with one daughter
and four stepchildren. Her five- and eight-year-old grandchildren
are currently living with her while their mother is serving America in
the 101st Airborne.

Baymont Inns & Suites Opens in Lawrence, Kansas
MILWAUKEE (Oct. 29, 2001) � Baymont Inns & Suites is pleased to
announce the recent opening of its newest franchise in Lawrence, Kan.
Located 40 miles west of Kansas City at 740 Iowa Street in Lawrence,
the new three-story Baymont Inn & Suites features 65 rooms.
The Lawrence Baymont Inn & Suites franchise is owned and managed
by Lawrence Investment Inc., located in Lawrence, Kan. Arvind Patel
